Winning ways continue for MS Girls, finish 2nd in Pine Tree

Ballers Nation's middle school girls sailed to the Pirate Center in Pine Tree after a first place finish in Frisco a week prior. And with Nationals drawing ever closer, coach Bernard Anderson is enjoying watching his team generate more and more momentum as the weeks transpire. "Of course collecting wins against great competition is the ultimate goal. I feel like we're catching fire at the perfect time in terms of the goals we want to reach as a team. Nationals will of course be the final test but I believe this team is battle-tested and prepared for whatever gets thrown their way." 

The middle school girls enter the final week of Nationals prep before making the trip to Plano, for the team's first appearance in the event since the team's inception. "We have a chance to make our own history," Anderson said. "We have the talent to truly make a splash and I feel as if we definitely have a chance to leave with some hardware!"
