MS Girls take home gold in Frisco

As the season winds down, the organization's teams begin to hit their stride. This stride has culminated in the Middle School Girls team taking home the Stars and Stripes Showdown Championship after a three-point victory in the final. "It's always amazing to coach these girls to a well-earned championship. They've continued to put in work throughout the Summer and as we can see it's paying off," Head Coach Bernard Anderson said in regards to the win.

The Lady Ballers ended Saturday pool play with a 1-1 record, with only two championship bracket spots available. A major 52-12 victory to open Sunday competition and secure a spot in the title game. When asked about the feeling going into Sunday with their title hopes in the air and destiny out of their own hands, Anderson concluded by saying, "Above all else I'm beyond proud of how we responded. We took the loss in stride and continued pushing through the adversity. We have the weapons to overcome anything that's presented in front of us and this is proof of that."
